Villa Tiberio, Marbella
Villa Tiberio is an Italian restaurant located on Marbella’s prestigious Golden Mile, specialising in traditional Mediterranean cuisine with “an international flavour”.
Purchased as a derelict villa nestled in endless weeds, Sandro Morelli, whose passions include architecture and interior design, dedicated a year to renovating his project into the restaurant it is today.
Owned by Sandro Morelli, a successful restaurateur who began his career at London’s Ritz and Cavendish hotels, Villa Tiberio has satisfied its customer’s fine dining needs for over 18 years.
As a personable, charismatic owner, Sandro Morelli offers an extensive menu for the sophisticated cosmopolitan customer, and encourages diners to ask for their favourite dish.
With customer satisfaction ranked highest on the list of priorities, Villa Tiberio has played host to illustrious cliental, such as royalty, diplomats and international celebrities.
In addition to its culinary delights and array of over 3,000 bottles of finest Spanish, French and Italian wine, Villa Tiberio boasts spectacular formal Italian gardens that home marble statues and cascading waterfalls. In 2006 Villa Tiberio was honoured with the coveted Best Garden on the Coast award, in recognition of its utopian scenery.
With the ability to accommodate 250 people sitting both inside and out, customers experience the comforts of traditional Italian hospitality under the setting Spanish sun. In amalgamating the two cultures, Sandro Morelli states, “What we are trying to do is offer the best that Spain produces, which our chefs incorporate into the Italian and international recipes.”
