Ulus 29 has served unique dishes since opening in 1993. Internationally acclaimed chef, Mert Şeran, is known as one of the top chefs in the Istanbul culinary scene and his distinct menu is made up of three parts: the first part “avant-garde” cuisine includes innovative dishes from various cuisines that are prepared with seasonal products. The second part includes traditional Turkish dishes, including Turkish style pizzas prepared with a variety of toppings served straight from a stone oven and the third part includes a sushi selection. The restaurant’s wine cellar, which was awarded the Wine Spectator Award in 2011, includes a selection of 4,500 bottles of wine from 320 local and international wine producers.

The indoor dining area has a sophisticated ambiance designed by internationally acclaimed interior designer, Zeynep Fadıllıoglu and her ZF Design team. Known for her desire to mix the contemporary with the traditional, Zeynep won The Andrew Martin International Designer of the Year Award in 2002 and Best Modern Interior at the 2005 Design & Decoration Awards. The Terrace Bar is a great spot to have cocktails after work or during your fine dining experience and adjacent to the restaurant is “The Private Room”, available for exclusive gatherings, meetings and special events, this also offers a magnificent Bosphorus view.
