The Market Research Analyst provides business intelligence support to our CEO

Job Description

As a Research Analyst you will conduct detailed investigative research and analysis focused on UHNWIs to help the firm’s management team identify and understand key strategies before proceeding with client relationships. This primarily involves undertaking open source and database research for factual information and due diligence, background investigations and risk assessments on companies and/or individuals of interest.

Job Functions

  • Produce high quality and accurate written work with the ability to understand and summarize large amounts of information from diverse sources
  • Develop an expertise in countries or region of focus
  • Form and articulate expert opinions based on analysis

Skills Required

  • An excellent academic record and at minimum a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, although an interest in international affairs, politics or economics and strong commercial knowledge is essential
  • Research experience using and interpreting comprehensive databases, media news and factual reports
  • Demonstrated ability to write at an academic or commercial quality level
  • Experience with the EMEAR market preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Candidates must possess

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and clear and articulate writing ability
  • Accurate and detail oriented research skills as well as an inquiring mindset
  • Capacity for adaptation to a rapidly changing environment, strong personal initiative and an ability to innovate
  • Ability to travel if needed for certain client engagements
  • Excellent written and spoken English is essential
  • Preference will be given to candidates with fluency in French, Russian, Arabic and/or Chinese
