Founded in 1957, The Eagle is a private members’ restaurant located in a sprawling chalet balanced on the top of a private mountain, Wasserngrat in Gstaad. The ski town of Gstaad is ringed by mountains but Wasserrngrat boasts a private ski lift.
Unique to the region, the club has invested in artificial snow, creating impressive ski tracks, spectacular races and winter competitions.
At £25,000 Club membership, gaining access to the restaurant is not a simple affair and the idea of dining on the mountaintop remains irresistible to the Gstaad elite.
