The Darby, New York
Located on 244 West 14th Street, The Darby was created by visionary restaurateurs Scott Sartiano and Richie Akiva along with partner Ronnie Madra, and offers a mix of innovative culinary delights and interactive live performances.
In a building previously occupied by the illustrious Nell’s nightclub, the fine dining restaurant is steeped in recent history and provides the perfect environment to enjoy vibrant and unique cuisine.
Led by executive chef Alexandra Guarnaschello, a culinary genius who has applied her trade in a selection of top restaurants, including esteemed chef Guy Savoy’s eponymous three-star kitchen, The Darby offers some of the best cuisine in New York’s tri-state area.
With a wide range of appetisers and three-course gourmet dishes on offer, the restaurant welcomes everyone from the mid-week businessman pushed for time, to the relaxed couple who wish to sample the signature veal with red mustard, or Darby Plateau: fresh oysters on the half shell, clams and shrimp.
With the capacity to comfortably accommodate 100 guests, the large and inviting dining room pays homage to its legendary location, decorated with antique coving, stage footlights, and a nickel-plated diagrid cage.
In addition, the dining room also features a large stage where the house band entertains with everything from Broadway jazz to contemporary pop soul.
