Showing some of the best new films from around the world, the festival will include the screening of thirteen world premiéres and will attract acclaimed industry professionals such as director David Cronenberg, whose latest film A Dangerous Method will be screened during the fortnight.

The festival will also be attended by some of the biggest names in acting including George Clooney, Ralph Fiennes and Michael Fassbender.
One of the festival highlights is Roland Emmerich’s new film, Anonymous. The details of the other films that are going to be shown and at which venues they can be found at are on the BFI website.

The festival will also hold extra events including on-stage interviews with leading media practitioners, master classes with industry professionals and discussions with writers and film makers.
