Tetsuya’s, Sydney

Overview
The degustation menu at Tetsuya’s is truly magnificent. Serving Japanese-inspired contemporary cuisine, the dishes are all imaginative, carefully crafted and most of all, delicious. Escape the bustling city in this intimate setting, overlooking a wonderfully groomed Japanese garden and with a group of friends or family, explore the exquisite flavours of Tetsuya’s.
The starting bread and butter, with whipped ricotta, parmesan and black truffle paste is only a glimpse in the culinary genius that occurs within these wooden walls.
Venue
Courses that follow include South Australian Kingfish Sashimi with Black Bean and Soy Sauce served with Orange Rind and Chilli, Wagyu Oxtail with Braised Sea Cucumber and world-renowned Confit Petuna Ocean trout, sprinkled with konbu and served on a salad of celery and apple. One may have to wait months for a reservation to sample the excellent ten course menu but it is definitely worth your while. Guests could also consider a private function here, or maybe book a room for a small party. Tetsuya’s provides a wonderful all-round experience that should be fully taken advantage of.
