Considered the most prestigious red clay tennis tournament in the world after the French Open, The Rome Masters is a one-week tennis competition that has been staged in Italy’s cultured capital city since 1935.
With the men’s competition being an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event on the Association of Tennis Professionals tour, and the women’s competition being a Premiere 5 event on the Women’s Tennis Association tour, the competition showcases some of the worlds greatest tennis and is enjoyed by thousands of spectators each year.
The competition is staged at the historical Foro Italico, a sports complex built in 1928 that comprises eleven clay surface tennis courts. With the capacity to accommodate up to 10,400 spectators, the venues centre court, Campo Centrale, offers guests premium viewing spots as well as reserved seating for the duration of the event.
