Mercedes-Benz

Overview
The name Merceds-Benz was first officially linked to cars in 1926 when Gotlieb Daimler and Karl Benz decided to go into business together, forming the Daimler-Benz company.
During the Nazi period in German history the Mercedes-Benz 770 model became very popular and was driven by most of the high officials. Since then the brand Mercedes-Benz has been linked to cars that are both practical and luxurious, and sometimes incredibly fast.
Today Mercedes-Benz produces a very wide range of cars, not unlike BMW or Audi, and has both normal and supercharged versions of its cars. The AMG production line represents the speed and racing technology that Mercedes-Benz has at its disposal with its pinnacle in the SLS AMG, meanwhile the rest of the production line concentrates on other areas of expertise.
Mercedes-Benz is a part of the Daimler AG corporation which also includes Smart and Maybach.
