Maserati’s history is a long one, involving both bicycles and airplanes, and at the center of it all we have the eldest Maserati brother, Alfieri, who started the business.

After the First World War was over, the brothers Maserati founded a new workshop where they worked together on everything from the engines to the logo. The family business really took off in 1926 when they achieved their first racing victory in a Maserati V4 and since then Maserati has been producing high quality supercars.

Today Maserati is known for making some of the best looking cars available and similarly to Ferrari they concentrate mostly on fast two-seaters but they have, as a part of their current production line, something that could be called family cars.

The current range at Maserati is split in to three main categories; the Quattroporte, the Granturismo and the Grancabrio. These cars are available with different engine sizes and specifications.
