Providing no menu, Masa prides itself on delivering guests a “performance of a lifetime”, and works entirely from the inspiration of the chef. Preparing up to twenty sushi dishes per person, Masayoshi Takayama uses only the freshest ingredients flown directly from Japan, showcasing each appetiser as it is cooked before the customer.

Accommodating up to 26 guests, Masa is a tranquil zen-like sushi temple decorated with natural materials. At the sushi counter, a single slab of Japanese cypress Hinoki wood sets the performance stage. The backdrop behind the counter is a pond with a bamboo garden and a floral arrangement by Chef Masayoshi, according to the season.

With an extensive wine and sake list, as well as cocktail menu, guests are advised on the perfect accompaniment to their cuisine. Reservations are recommended due to the popularity of the restaurant, and the fact that each guests receives an undivided personal experience from the chef.
