Purchased as a private residential farm in 1947, Prince Alfonso von Hohenlohe transformed the 18hectares of land into the coveted Marbella Beach Club. Today the hotel features 121 luxury rooms and suites, as well as 14 Andalusian-style private villas for the exclusively wealthy.
Located in the heart of the “Golden Mile”, on the shores of the Mediterranean, Marbella Club Hotel offers a unique blend of traditional and contemporary luxury.
Since opening in 1954, the hotel has welcomed a troupe of illustrious cliental, including celebrities and royalty. With suites, villas, restaurants, a golf course, and spa, guests experience professional service and Andalusian hospitality throughout their stay.
Venue
Each room features its own unique interior furnishings designed to compliment the surrounding natural landscape, as well as a terraced balcony and marbled bathroom. 37 luxury suites, designed by the Prince himself, are nestled around the complex, and come with multiple bedrooms and living quarters as standard.
Maintained to perfection, the onsite golf course “exceeds even the highest expectations” and features contoured fairways, waterfalls and bunkers. The picturesque nine-hole course is exclusive to hotel guests and comes with clubhouse dining facilities.
“A unique setting for a pleasant lunch”, the restaurant offers Andalusian and Spanish cuisine, and features spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Other dining options include a pool bar, beach bar, café, and grill, where customers can enjoy everything from salads to steak and salmon.
Located on the beach, the Thalasso Spa features state of the art facilities including an indoor seawater pool, Turkish baths, saunas, and relaxation room overlooking the sea. A full range of unique beauty treatments are also available to guests interested in trying holistic and stabilising ShiTao massages, as well as seashell facials.
Other activities include horse riding, where guests can enjoy a relaxing trek through the countryside, and tennis, which can be played at the Puente Romano Tennis & Fitness club, situated five-minutes from the main hotel complex.
