Trogir – Living Greek Legends

The centre of Trogir, a historic town and harbour on the Adriatic coast, has been an established UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997, but its real urban history, extends back to over 2,000 years.

Founded in the 3rd Century BC, Trogir was moulded by the greats, with its culture celebrating, Greek, Roman and Venetian influences. The awe-inspiring medieval core of the city is surrounded by walls, and boasts an astounding density of castle, churches and towers; an ideal picturesque scene for the discerning luxury yacht charterer.

These prolific monuments are sure to impress all lovers of culture, with influences from the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods. By far the grandest building of Trogir, is the church of St. Larwence, which was dreamt up by Radovan, and the most significant work of the Romanesque-Gothic style in Croatia.
