Kotor – Nature meets History

Kotor is a coastal town in Montenegro, situated in the most secluded part of Boka Kotorska bay, in the northern part of the coast. Attraction to the town is twofold, with the spectacular beauty of the Gulf being juxtaposed with the fascination of the old town.

The old town is an extremely well preserved show case of Middle Age urbanization, characterized by the town’s entwinement of narrow streets and squares. Waiting in these squares are moving discoveries, such as the exquisite Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, a symbol of the city. Kotor is ideally situated thanks to its quiet bay, which is also the deepest natural fjord in the Mediterranean Sea.
