Limassol, the new A-list superyacht playground

Since the opening of Limassol Marina in June 2013, Limassol became the latest and greatest under-the-radar playground for the A-list of superyachts in Eastern Mediterranean. Limassol is a cosmopolitan city, which is populated by important entrepreneurs and business professionals from all over the world.

At a close proximity to Limassol Marina, is the ancient castle of the town, which has been the home to the historical wedding of Richard The Lionheart and Berengaria which presents a must see cultural monument for luxury yacht charter travellers.

The Ancient Castle is surrounded by traditional restaurants of authentic Greek cuisine extending to the whole coast of Limassol up to the Le Meridien Hotel, which is considered one of the most important luxury hotels in Limassol.

Close to the Le Meridien Hotel is the St Raphael Marina which offers an anchorage to yachts which are navigating in this part of Limassol. The Sailor’s Rest offers unforgettable moments and amazing sunsets for its yacht visitors.

Additionally, Limassol features the ancient amphitheatre of Kourion which hosts important ancient Greek drama productions, as well as other cultural and musical performances, including a tenor performance by Andrea Bocelli and violin performance by Vanessa-Mae Vanakorn Nicholson in the recent years.

Limassol is a vibrant city, hosting a variety of festivals throughout the year celebrating the Cypriot culture. One of the highlights of the social calendar is the famous Limassol Carnival, a 10 day event featuring parades, masquerade balls and wild parties throughout the city.

Limassol offers to superyacht owners and luxury yacht charter enthusiasts the most amazing and fashionable luxurious moments in Eastern Mediterranean.
