Le Vistamar, Monte-Carlo
Amidst a decor designed by Pierre Yves Rochon, Le Vistamar plays host to an original concept orchestrated by chef Joël Garault. Cooking is a passion and, like all passions, it grows, says Joël Garault. Born in 1955 in Loudun (the Vienne department), he started cooking at an early age. At 15 he started his apprenticeship in Tours. In 1973 he was working alongside Chef Christian Willer at the Hôtel Hermitage in La Baule.
“Take a fish, a vegetable and cook it to perfection.” This simple approach lies behind the high level of gourmet excellence. From the beautiful terrace (open in summer), you can admire breathtaking views of the harbour and the famous Rock.
