James Bond 007 & Bollinger: A long lasting friendship since 1956
A long lasting friendship between both families starting 40 years ago with Christian Bizot meeting wine connoisseur, Albert Broccoli. Bollinger was first mentioned in Ian Fleming’s novel Diamonds are Forever in 1956, while 13 James Bond films featuring Bollinger (exclusive partnership since Moonraker in 1979).

Moonraker – 1979
Bond notices a bottle of Bollinger in Lois Chiles’ bedroom: “Bollinger ‘69, you were expecting me!” During the final scene, Shark is seen opening with his teeth a bottle of R.D.
Octopussy – 1983
Bond is seen drinking Bollinger R.D. in a restaurant by a pool and shortly thereafter in a house.
A View to a Kill – 1985
Roger Moore is tasting and recognizes Bollinger 75, in the Jules Verne restaurant of the Eiffel Tower.
The Living Daylights – 1987
At the beginning of the movie, Timothy Dalton is being served Bollinger R.D. ‘75 on a yacht.
Licence to Kill – 1989
Timothy Dalton says to a waiter in a casino scene: “Bollinger R.D. I presume” when shown Bollinger R.D. ‘79.
GoldenEye – 1995
Following a furious car chase, Bond is asked what he does for relaxation by his passenger, a woman psychiatrist sent to evaluate him by his boss M (who for the first time is played by Dame Judi Dench). In response, Bond presses a button on his Aston Martin’s dashboard to reveal a secret refrigerated compartment cradling a frosty bottle of Bollinger Grande Année 1988 and two glasses; he kisses her and pours her a glass.
Tomorrow Never Dies – 1997
Bond and ex-girlfriend (Terry Hatcher) chat in a lounge. “What are you drinking? I’m drinking my husband’s Champagne…”

Grande Année 1990, in a scene with Katherina Murino at the One and Only Club in the Bahamas, and then in the restaurant dining with Eva Green after his winning hand at the Casino Royale.
Quantum of Solace -2008
