Fabergé at Harrods 2015
Fabergé, the artist jeweller, returns to legendary department store Harrods this Spring with an interactive pop-up boutique that celebrates the iconic egg shape through exuberant colour.
From 3rd until 28th March 2015, Fabergé will occupy four Harrods windows on the famed Brompton Road with an artistic 3D moving projection showcasing the much-loved, iconic Fabergé egg designs, available in store at the Fabergé Egg Bar.
Visitors will be transported to the magical world of Fabergé through a three-dimensional projection mapping of a giant, man-sized egg, the symbol of life and rebirth, which they can customise by choosing various patterns and colours at the Fabergé Interactive Desk. The installation will then morph into the next egg design chosen, bursting with facets of vibrant colour. The effect of spatial augmented reality aims to bring to life the Fabergé universe, whilst surprising and delighting visitors.
Fabergé is reinventing its iconic egg shape for this playful and contemporary exhibition which fuses heritage and modernity in a truly innovative way. As the leading artist jeweller, Fabergé pushes the boundaries of retail concepts through pioneering technology and its artistic approach to colour.
The Fabergé Egg Bar will offer the house’s signature egg pendant and charm designs, from quilted gold Treillage to gem-set Spiral, from guilloché enamel Heritage to vibrant Emotion. A selection of new rings from the Devotion collection, set with exceptional coloured gemstones, will be exclusively available at Harrods, celebrating the art of colour. In addition, the pop-up boutique will house a Consultation Bar for clients to discuss private commissions and personalised orders.
‘Fabergé at Harrods’ runs from 3rd to 28th March 2015 at Harrods, 87-135 Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, London SW1X 7XL, UK. The Fabergé Pop-up Boutique will be located at Door 9, Ground Floor, Harrods
