The show will kick off with the media preview on Jan. 9-10, followed by the industry preview and then the Charity Preview on Jan. 13. The auto show will open to the public Jan. 14 and conclude Jan. 22.
Sam Slaughter, president of Clarkston-based Sellers Auto Group Inc., will serve as chairman of the 2017 Show.
The 2016 Detroit auto show drew 815,575 in total ticketed attendance. It also drew 5,068 credentialed media from 60 countries during the media preview. Following the media previews was the industry preview, which the organizers said drew a record 39,788 visitors from 2,000 companies and 25 countries.
