Delos, Jewel in the Aegean Crown

The beautiful island of Delos is the most historically significant of the Cyclades. This island was once believed to be the birthplace of Artemis and Apollo, which inspired the ancient Greeks to construct a myriad of architectural wonders on what they believed was sacred land.

This rich cultural history has led to the island being declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, making it a living museum floating in the Aegean sea. Here you can bask in the glorious history of ancient Greece by visiting the Terrace of the Lions, the Minoan Fountain or one of the many spectacular temples dedicated to the Gods and Goddesses.
