Caracalla 1947: Add a bespoke touch to your Italian Racing Style
Caracalla 1947 offers beautiful Italian leather goods and accessories inspired by the exclusive world of Formula 1. Caracalla 1947 is named after the world-famous Italian racing circuit in Rome where Ferrari won its first race, on 25th May 1947.

The brand pays homage to some of the greatest racing marques, colours, drivers and individual cars that the world has ever seen, and the numbers that left their mark in motorsport history.

The luxury collection is the brainchild of Caracalla 1947 founder and chief executive Simon Jordan. Each item is hand-made in Italy to precise and exacting standards using only the best craftsmen and the highest quality vegetable-tanned through-dyed Tuscan leather. The holdalls are in great demand with both famous F1 drivers and celebrities alike.

The Monza holdall, available in a wide variety of colours is the centrepiece of the collection and has been designed as the perfect bag for a night or weekend away. If a holdall isn’t what you are looking for there are also flasks, key rings, luggage tags, messenger bags, wash bags, document cases everything for the discerning driver who looks the epitome of style.

Below is just a snapshot of some of the beautiful ranges available and the driving force behind them:

Ferrari Lauda 12

The Ferrari Inspired Lauda 12 collection has been designed to commemorate their revolutionary 312T. In September 1975, Niki Lauda clinched his first-ever Formula One World Drivers’ Championship driving a 312T sporting the number 12. He achieved victory at the world-famous Monza circuit – the inspiration behind our holdall’s name – and in doing so secured Ferrari’s first win on home soil in 11 years and their place as Formula One Constructors’ World Champions. Priced from £420.00 to £144.00 this range features a holdall, a messenger bag, a document case and a wash bag.

Lotus Clark 8

The Lotus Clark 8 collection has been designed to commemorate Jim Clark’s total domination of the 1963 Formula One World Championship, where he won seven out of 10 races and garnered seven poles to give him his first Drivers’ World Championship and Lotus its first Formula One Constructors’ title. The car, designed by Lotus founder and motoring legend Colin Chapman CBE, was a Lotus 25 Climax and bore the number 8. Priced from £420.00 to £144.00 this range features a holdall, a messenger bag, a document case and a wash bag.

Stirling Moss 7

Our Stirling Moss 7 collection has been designed to pay homage to one of the most celebrated and successful racing drivers Britain has ever produced, Sir Stirling Moss OBE. Created in collaboration with the man himself, the collection focuses on Moss’s favourite race car number – seven – and the classic colours of the Rob Walker Racing Team cars famously driven by Moss. Priced from £420.00 to £25.00, this range features a holdall, a messenger bag, a document case, a wash bag, a wallet, a passport holder, a luggage tag, a key ring and a flask.

In addition to these ranges Caracalla 1947 has a bespoke service.
