High standards are set upon entering the Londa boutique hotel with its sleek exterior promising sophisticated simplicity both in décor and in the Caprice restaurant. Diners are not disappointed as they are sat on an open terrace surrounded by gleaming white furnishings, overlooking the bright blue pool and sparkling sea.
Serving a buffet breakfast, an a la carte lunch or dinner, Caprice offers modern European cooking with techniques from Asia, America and the Mediterranean itself. This fusion of skill and flavours results in stunning gastronomy; beautifully plated into works of art and devoured by guests from the hotel and beyond.
Venue
The breathtaking setting is almost worth the visit itself however the menu could stand alone, enticing diners with unusual combinations and variety of interesting ingredients. Locally sourced, fresh vegetables feature heavily, with inventions such as aubergine soufflé with caprino cheese fondue and steamed lobster with celery, melon and cold cucumber & tomato gazpacho. However, seafood steals the limelight with scorched tuna served with fennel, oranges and liquorice, octopus salad, clam and prawn pasta dishes suitably completing the bill. Divine desserts include traditional tiramisu and chocolate cannolo (ricotta and chocolate filled pastry tubes) as well as lime parfait with pepper sauce for the more adventurous.
