Auberge du Bois Prin offers fine dining in the very heart of Chamonix, being only ten minutes walk from the centre, and five minutes from the Brévent Flégère gondola lift.
The restaurant boasts not only a spectacular panorama, but unique cuisine made possible by Chef Denis Carrier’s organic vegetable garden. The venue’s terrace faces Mont Blanc and in the summer is a wonderful place to enjoy an aperitif. Yet as winter nights draw closer, guests can relax beneath the impressive feature chimney. Diners can enjoy starters such as Winter Squash Soup with Seashell and Terrine de Foie Gras, prepared with duck from the Landes region. This can be followed by Fish from the mountain lakes, or seasonal game served with colourful vegetables. For desserts, one can expect red berries in summer, exotic fruits in winter, and delicious chocolate and hazelnut delicacies.
