Atlantique Seafood Bar, Jersey

Overview
Since The Atlantique Seafood Bar’s inception in 2002 by Vic and Sammy Gomes at the Jersey Fish Market, the eatery has provided Saint Helier with al fresco dining, found from early breakfast time with dishes such as smoked kippers with poached eggs & French bread, to the romantic evening with cocktails served until 10pm.
The restaurant welcomes summer with six Jersey oysters & a glass of Champagne served as an ‘Afternoon Indulgence’, and is perfect for pre-theatre dinner when guests are pressed for time. Party menus are available for any occasion from birthdays to corporate events.

The restaurant’s pièce de résistance is without a doubt its Fruits de Mer platters, combining raw and cooked seafood on a bed of crushed ice. The two-person Plateau Royal ‘St Helier’ for example serves up a selection of lobster, crab, stuffed oysters, gambas, ‘Crevettes Roses’, whelks, green lip mussels tossed in a wok with ginger, spring onion & oyster sauce. Other favourites include sizzling fish such as gambas Piri-Piri chilli, garlic & coriander and the delectable Tapas Atlantique.
