Armand de Brignac Midas — the World’s most extravagant luxury champagne

A 30-litre double Nebuchadnezzar-size bottle of Armand de Brignac Midas is guaranteed to ensure your night starts as it means to go on. At a jaw-dropping six-digit figure (in pound sterling) for just one bottle, this places the luxury champagne as the most expensive champagne worldwide.

Made by Champagne Cattier it was introduced in 2006 and is a product of the Cattier family’s Premier Cru vineyards. A non-vintage Champagne containing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, it’s unmissable gold bottle has a pewter Ace of Spades etching on its label. You might need a minder or two to carry this massive bottle which weighs in at a mighty 45kg.

The champagne has been described as a ‘sumptuous racy fruit character that is perfectly integrated with the wine’s subtle brioche accents’. Time to crack open a bottle and celebrate the last of the summer sun.
